• State Offices in Jackson May Open at Noon; State Offices South of Interstate 20 Will Remain Closed

JACKSON—State offices in Jackson, including in the Capitol Complex, are scheduled to open at noon today following winter weather on Tuesday. Road conditions, particularly south of Jackson, may still make travel dangerous, and agency heads retain discretion to relieve employees on a case-by-case basis from returning to work at noon.

Due to ongoing winter weather conditions in the southern portion of the state, all state offices south of Interstate 20 will remain closed through Wednesday. Gov. Bryant and emergency officials continue to monitor the weather and road conditions and will issue further guidance and updates as necessary.
