“For too long, Mississippi’s children have paid the price for a status-quo public education system. This year, we have worked hard to make meaningful improvements to our education system and to our children’s futures, and I thank the House and Senate conferees for approving my ‘Education Works’ agenda,” Gov. Phil Bryant said.
Senate Bill 2347, Governor Bryant’s “Third Grade Gate” literacy improvement measure, and Senate Bill 2658 Governor Bryant’s “Education Works” package, must now go to the full House and Senate for final adoption.
